This book is a results of our urge to see young talents flourish in these days of multi-media communication and cyber invasion where many “ a sweet voice” is lost in the wilderness of the concrete jungle-and a communication gap exists despite advantage of new communication media. While our humble efforts were defected by this urge to discover – in 3 age groups, Adolescents Teenager and Youth and 3 languages – Bengali, Hindi, English – we know we have not done enough to this end but seek your blessings in this great journey of discovery to acknowledge the budding poetic attempts through our publications.

Poets of Tomorrow – we hope will inspire the young and the not-so-young to forge ahead – despite some lapses – in some poems - where we have kept in original form – without editing the contents, so keeping the essential meaning or the expression as near to the original writing as possible. Notice for budding writers for second edition of "Poets of Tomorrow" 2009

Sparrow Publications will be publishing a Poetry / Verse book in English / Bengali / Hindi in the Kolkata Book Fair. This book is being published to provide publicity to aspiring young poets & showcase the talent of budding poets. All poems / verse will be carefully evaluated by a qualified panel of judges and selected entries will be collectively published in a book in the Kolkata Book fair 2009. To encourage latent talent, the best poem / verse will be notified and their composers will be suitable rewarded with Exciting Prizes.

All Poems / Verse in English / Bengali / Hindi should be within a maximum of 250 words for the Asolescents Group & 300 words for Teenagers and Youth Groups.
